Equipped with four 10/100 Mb/s PoE ports, the SunMAX SolarPoint MPPT* Charge Controller from Ubiquiti delivers a total power output up to 40W. It features MPPT PV power control, along with a built-in weather prediction service that works in conjunction with Ai algorithms to provide you with information about your solar site's existing and future performance.
This device's UV-resistant polycarbonate enclosure is IPX4 rated for safe outdoor use.
*An MPPT, or maximum power point tracker is an electronic DC to DC converter that optimizes the match between the solar array (PV panels), and the battery bank. To put it simply, they convert a higher voltage DC output from solar panels down to the lower voltage needed to charge batteries.
