- The Aruba 8 Series Access Points are ruggedized for deployment in harsh indoor environments or within an enclosure for exposed environments.
- They extend 802. ac Wave 2 support for protected, harsh environments such as stadiums, warehouses or refrigeration areas.
- One of the uplink ports supports 000BASE-T Ethernet connections (RJ-45) for power and connectivity.
- One of the uplink ports supports 000BASE-X Ethernet connections (SFP) allowing the use of optical connections for longer reach.
- The Aruba 8 Series Access Points enable flexible network connectivity options with their dual Gigabit Ethernet uplink options.
- The Aruba 8 Series Access Points support 802. ac with Wave 2 features including 4x4:4SS, 60 MHz channel width and Multi-User MIMO transmission.
- Supports maximum simultaneous data rates of 2.0 Gbps with ,7 Mbps in the 5GHz band and 00 Mbps in the 2.4GHz band.
- The Aruba 8 Series Access Points have an integrated Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) beacon to enable Aruba location services such as beacon management, location notifications and navigation.
- The integration of a BLE beacon enables businesses to leverage mobile context to develop apps that deliver an enhanced user experience and increase the value of the network infrastructure.
